The MESys boilers came highly recommended by some business colleagues. The few times we required assistance, we were promptly looked after. That's saying something considering our remote location.
I selected this brand of boiler the same way I select anything I own and have to live with. I wanted the world's best pellet boiler available, the most technologically advanced, with proven records and certified to be used in Canada. MESys boiler's had it all.
I chose the MESys Pellet boiler because my client asked me to find a pellet boiler he and his wife could maintain and of good quality. With some help from Energy North Corp. in Yellowknife, we put together a package specifically designed for them. The boiler and storage silo fit the space and easily tied into the existing heating system, and domestic hot water.
We purchased our ÖkoFEN 36 Kw. wood pellet boiler from Green Energy NWT Inc. in 2012 and it has performed beyond our expectations.
Compared to our previous system, the unit excels in terms of economics, efficiency and of course environmental friendliness. I would highly recommend this system for additional applications. Plus, the aftermarket support has been excellent.
I was employed with the Tlicho Alternative Energy Committee for about three years and we were able to complete the Behchoko District heating wood chip & pellet heating system which will heat seven major buildings in down town Behchoko. We also installed five solar arrays, one in each of the Tlicho Communities. All are five kilowatts and are net billing pilot projects.
Nina Larsson and Energy North helped us with our prefeasibility work on the Behchoko projects and facilitated our community workshops and energy planning. Masi Cho to Nina and her company for all the good work and help.
